Excellent list of resources! I think you are right on with the 2 points about eating better and exercising more. It is truly that simple. I myself am a runner (20+ miles per week) so that is how I stay fit. I also have been eating much better lately. Basically cutting out the snacks in the evening has gone a really long way.

I really like Gyminee, it lets you log work outs and set weigh/calorie goals.

How are you doing on the 100 push up challenge? I feel a huge difference from when I started. :)

well i've only done 1 day so far on the push up challenge. I'll probably write up a quick post tonight after my day 2 workout. I am actually pretty sore after only day one though.. Thanks for the hint on Gyminee, i'll check it out.

I've gotta recommend The Hacker's Diet...it's the first diet i've been able to keep and is free online. Believe I heard about it over at Gather Little by Little. It focuses on changing your eating habits, which according to Weight Watchers (I think) is 90% of weight loss (the other 10% being exercise. Don't have a link, but if you Google "Hacker's Diet", you'll find it. Has a wikipedia entry too to describe it. Love.it.

I like using sparkpeople.com. You can track your eating and exercise, there are lots of articles about health, nutrition, and fitness, and the price is right: free!
