Bible Money Matters: Pay More Now, or Pay Even More Later

The thing is that people who don't or don't think they have enough money to buy in bulk, probably need to tackle larger finance and behavior issues before something like this would seem possible.

PS : One of the project wonderful ads in your right sidebar is probably fall in the risque category.

thanks for letting me know about the ad - it has been removed. I just love it when advertisers change their banner mid-stream after i have approved -and change it to something like that. ugh.

I noticed that ad this morning and meant to shoot you a message, but it looks like Happy Rock gave you a heads up.

Hope this finds you and your wife doing better. We're still thinking about you.

thanks FrugalDad- my wife is getting better - slow but sure. We're just trying to make sure that the clot doesn't return again like it has already once. She'll probably be in the hospital for another 4-5 days at least, but she is making baby steps every day. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

I agree with double checking the prices when buying in bulk. Last week my wife and I were buying rolls of paper towels and its was cheaper to buy four small packages than one large pack. Its important to bring along a calculator and a note pad when shopping so you can double check unit prices

You raise a good point about buying in bulk is not always cheaper. I ship frequently at a BJ's Wholesale Club and I definitely have to be alert to the prices. I've come across many items that ended up being the same cost or even a little bit more, by unit price, than a smaller package of the same item in the local supermarket. Many times I don't need a large wholesale size package so watching those prices really pays.
